- Cost: $250.00 (Initial Certification)
- Range Fee: $20 (Paid to range on training day)
- Ammo: Bring your own ammunition for the firearms you intend to qualify with
- Location: Guardian SPCA Training Facility – Riverside County
- Certification: Meets all Sheriff’s Department training standards for CCW issuance
- Cost: $150.00 (Renewal Certification)
- Range Fee: $20 (Paid to range on training day)
- Ammo: Bring your own ammunition for the firearms you intend to qualify with
- Location: Guardian SPCA Training Facility – Riverside County
- Certification: Meets all Sheriff’s Department training standards for CCW issuance

James Martinez is a certified and licensed firearms instructor through the California Bureau of Security and Investigative services, the California Department of Justice, and the California Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST). serving in law enforcement for over 25 years as well as service in U.S. Army Military Police Combat Veteran. James brings a balanced blend of tactical expertise and practical instruction to every course. From training new cadets and professionals to teaching firearm safety to young adults, he is dedicated to promoting responsibility, discipline, and survival readiness within California’s unique environment.
